Forget the nudge, we all need a shove

A week or so ago we were discussing nudge or Behaviour change.

There's a nice piece in The Sunday Times today which offers the view that the "subtle approach to change is crumbling in the face of reality". Appleyard thinks

It is like replacing strict Victorian parents with sensitive modern ones. Unfortunately, the strict Victorian ones had a point.
