For sale: Full HD TV - good for gaming

Hi everyone, I am selling a Sony KDL40W905A TV, 40" for £200.

Near mint condition with all manuals and accessories including two pairs of active 3D glasses.

Sony’s flagship TV in 2013. I bought this back then because 4K hadn’t reached an affordable standard and there were still better HDTVs like this one, especially at 40 inches.

The colours are rich, the motion is smooth and you really notice when you’re watching proper 1080p tv or film on this.

Why have I called this a gaming TV? Another reason I bought this at the time was because the input lag was and still is amazing. HDTV.co.uk measured between 10-20ms, which is faster than many 2018 4K HDR TVs. Games look great on it - game mode works perfectly with my PS4 Pro and PS4 before that. This performance means it can be used for PC Gaming too.

The only reasons some of the above didn’t give it top marks was because of price, or the smart TV options. The apps aren’t great but they’re not bad either - you’ve got the basics e.g YouTube, Netflix, iPlayer. Also if you’re going to add a PlayStation or Xbox, who cares?

There’s a slight scratch on the base but the screen itself is blemish free. One of the remotes is a bit tired now so the on/off button needs a firm press to work
