Football players wanted: Mens 11-a-side Sunday league

We are a local men’s 11-a-side football team soon to start playing in the Hackney and Leyton league (Hackney Marshes).

Previously a team that played on Saturdays, we’ve joined the Sunday division and are looking to recruit a few players across the pitch.

About us:
We’re competitive and we want to win it all, but we also believe in the fun and social side of being part of a football team. As well as the weekly Sunday am games, we’ll arrange post-match drinks/food, arrange Xmas and end of season socials, and keep track of people’s stats throughout the season.

We are looking for players who are of course decent ballers and can keep up with the 90min game, as well as a good team attitude. We will pick teams based off of commitment to the team and won’t pick ringers or favourites if the commitment or attitude isn’t there.

Between us is years of experience playing and organising 11 a side football, mostly playing in the Essex Alliance League, reaching numerous finals (including the Essex county cup) and winning various silverwear.
