Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello are there any Food Coops in our area?  There's one on Tottenham High Road, and one down on Blackstock Road, but nearer than that?  Thanks, Barbara

do you mean foodbanks?

No, food coops, where a group buys wholesale and distributes among group members.  There's one at Tottenham High Cross, or at least when I looked online. They take a lot of setting up but seem to run successfully.

Cooperation Tottenham is based at High Cross, not sure if that is the same one you are already aware of. cooperationtottenham@gmail.com

St Ann's Food Hub is a fruit and veg co op. We buy from a wholesaler and sort the veg into boxes for collection on a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning from Chestnuts Community Centre. It's £10 for a huge box. We also have "solidarity boxes" for people who cannot afford £10.
