Hi Caroline

I had the floor restored downstairs and they had to replace a few which were damaged. After sanding them down and varnishing, you can't tell which ones are the replaced ones. Mine was pine wood. if you can't get hold of original ones, I wouldn't worry. I can check how much they charged me for each floor board, if you want to have an idea.

I have a floor refinish project starting next week. I have about 20 sqm of 1830 floorboards. My house is all still wood floors but some has been replaced over the years. If you can wait till I see how the dust settles I may well have something from 1895.
