Yesterday (Sunday 4th) West Green Road was closed by a burst water main at the Green Lanes end - looked pretty dramatic - 3 fed up lots of police and one Thames Water man . 41,67 and 230 buses were on diversion - 41 and 67 still shown on diversion on TfL website - 230 isnt.
Anyone at that end who can update?
Thanks!

Thanks - saw the water had gone but buses still on diversion til next Monday evening
Somewhat related to this since Turnpike Lane Tube station is nearby - does anyone know what is being done about fixing the flooding in the subway leading to the station from the Ducketts Common entrance? It has been closed for months so passengers coming from the Ladder area now have to wait to cross main roads to use one of the other entrances instead.
What's pretty annoying about this thing is the only way to get a vehicle to any of the roads off of the top end of West Green Road involves a trip down to St Ann's Road, Seven Sisters Road, High Road, and finally Philip Lane. You would think Haringay Council would have suspended the LTN's at either Woodland Park Road or La Rosa (formerly Black Boy Lane) until the road could be reopened. Traffic has been horrendous and there was also temporary lights on St Ann's Road on Thursday adding to the traffic jams caused by this closure. I spoke to a traffic and roadways planner recently about how poorly traffic is managed throughout London and they told me the general consensus is to penalise and thwart road users as much as possible with a nod to the cyclist lobby which has infiltrated much of London's road planning. It's like a game, how far can they push the motorist. It's not right, we don't have to be like this but what can you do?
but the council has certainly waived restrictions on La Rose Lane - saw the signs from bus
