I've just returned from one of my fairly regular Friday night eatings out in a local Turkish restaurant. This time we went to Flame. One thing Flame has going for it is that it is relatively quiet, which for someone a bit deaf like me, is great as it means I can actually hear what my friend is saying to me across the table. What was a wonderful surprise was the artwork displayed on the newly refurbished walls. The walls are lined with beautifully vibrant mono-silk screens and lithographs by local artist Susan Herrington. Really uplifting work. Go and take a look and try the salmon, or whatever else take your fancy while you are at it.
