I'd highly recommend Ross Day who did some great work restoring our Edwardian front door. Local guy, really handy. DM me for number.

I'm looking to do the same, new front door, frame and toplight in a Victorian house.

Did you make any progress with Ross Day or any others through you research ?

No, unfortunately I've not got round to it yet. But I should be sorting it out in the next month or so. I'll report back, or let me know if you have any feedback before then.

I can recommend www.doorsanddoors.co.uk
They weren't cheap but I think their prices were reasonable and they were definitely very professional and thorough.
