Hi all,
We have built a new fence and the old fence panels and posts are in the garden. I have chopped up for fire wood for a friend but still have loads left (unchopped) if anyone is interested. Otherwise we need to drive it off (to the dump I suppose, or anyone has other tips?)
If anyone is interested, let me know and we can arrange. Could potentially be used for something else as well, but the wood is about 40 years old and quite brittle.
Cheers, Jacob

I assume this fence was treated at one time? Please don't burn it, if you do burn the old fence you will be putting toxins out there for our kids to breathe in. Thanks.
And don't drive a car either then.
Hi, thanks for input Paul. I thought it looked so old I assumed the toxic stuff had already been released, it is old and white, a bit like driftwood. But I see that councils don't recommend burning treated wood, and I don't want to pollute, so I will see if there is any way to make sure it is not treated before offering for burning. Otherwise, should it go to landfill, or what, anyone knows? Cheers, J
