Finsbury parkrun cancelled this Saturday

Hello,

For any parkrunners out there, the event is cancelled in Finsbury park this Saturday as the carriageway is icy an the forecast doesn't look set to improve.

Other nearby parkruns are likely to cancel too so please check before traveling for your parkrun fix!

We should be back on Saturday the 10th of March for our usual 5km run/walk at 9am - open to anyone, it's free and entirely run by volunteers. Look up www.parkrun.org.uk for more information and to get your personal barcode.

Which park? I ran in Ally Pally and Finsbury yesterday, both were great.

I was thinking Finsbury Park, I don’t have special shoes to run in ice or snow, that’s the only thing

Then see how it is tomorrow. The weather is supposed to get warmer but it may get icy first. I was wearing very good trail shoes.
