Chair – Board of Trustees, Finsbury Park Sport Partnership

Finsbury Park Sports Partnership (FPSP) is a new organisation seeking to establish itself as a Charitable Company limited by guarantee. FPSP is made up of representatives of the existing user groups of the Finsbury Park Track and Gym. It has been given preferred supplier status by Haringey Council and is working towards assuming the operational management and development of the facility on a long term lease.

FPSP is seeking to appoint an independent Chair to lead the Board of Trustees and inspire the Partnership to improve the existing facilities for the benefit of the local sporting community. FPSP would like to hear from talented individuals who feel they have something to contribute to this role.

Although there is no formal job description the successful individual is likely to possess experience of similar situations with knowledge of local government and sports administration. An interest or attachment to the local area would be desirable.

There is no salary with this position but agreed expenses will be reimbursed. The likely commitment will include Chairing quarterly meetings and dealing with policy issues as they arise.

The successful candidate will be contributing to the continued excellence of this strategically positioned facility at a crucial time for both sports and community development.
