On Sunday I emailed (with pictures) the council leader Peray Ahmet; the cabinet member for culture and leisure Emily Arkell; five local ward councillors and two council officials. Waiting for a response.

History suggests that if you'd emailed invitations to lunch, sporting or cultural events, or better still a job offers, you might get a more timely and satisfying response. One of David Lammy's few virtues is that he keeps it simple by just taking cash.

The park is being ruined for all those who like to sit around in there in the Summer. Worth informing Friends of Finsbury Park as well as the council as they have been quite vocal about the damage these events are doing to the park. It gets worse every year

I'm certain those in Haringey council will do nothing. It brings in large amounts money to the council.
Money talks, citizen concerns about their green spaces is less than secondary, unfortunately.

Time for direct action. Protests, disruption of event set up and operation. Put their profits at risk and they might go elsewhere.

Sadly I think you're right Doodle. All these years living here and I can't see any attempt by Haringey Council to attempt to improve the quality of life for most of the citizens. It's a depressing state of affairs

It would be very hard to disrupt the events Gordon. When the Wireless festival was on the park was circled by more police than I have ever seen around here!!! It looked more like a prison than a park
