chance to see the Victorian Theatre
TOMORROW (Sunday 7 December) from 11 a.m. onwards there will be a bring-&-buy sale in the foyer of Alexandra Palace's Victorian Theatre. Tables are fully booked, but there should be plenty of bargains on offer for those willing to take a look. If you can't come, please pass the word!
The table fees raise revenue for future events and improvements in and around the Theatre, amongst other things. It's a chance to raise awareness of the Theatre and if successful, this may become a regular event. It will be also be a chance to meet others and discuss the future of our charity, Alexandra Palace, as a whole.
This is also likely to be a rare opportunity to view the long-hidden theatre from a cordoned off area. We understand that visitors can take photos, but be aware that a powerful flash would be needed as the interior is big and dark.
There will be carol singing and other Christmas music.
Directions: The foyer can be reached via the Skating Rink entrance at the eastern end. Pass the ticket office on the right and the entrance is through the double doors one the right. There is also a side entrance outside, round the corner to the right of the skating rink car park.
