Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

"Far Flung Wastes of Harringay"! Well, that's nice innit!

Following up a lead on a story about a two week visit of the Philadelphia Orchestra to Harringay Arena in 1949 (I know, sad git), I came across a song by a lady called Tasmin Grey with the charming title "Far Flung Wastes of Harringay".

I was at an acoustic night in Stoke Newington and somebody played a song called called "New River Blues" which was all about Harringay & Wood Green! Can't remember the guys name...
