Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Help requested in filling in small details of my family history. Around 1935 does anybody know of a man called Joe who was possible a musician (amature or professional) in or around N15 or N17 He would have been around 30 years old (+- 5 years), May have played at the Tottenham Royal dance hall.He was probably married so perhaps he may have been a grandfather to a reader. His surname may(or may not)have been somethin like Petit. I know this is very vague but hope a Harringay onlne reader may be able to help.  Contact email is brtgu24@yahoo.co.uk Thanks. Brian Taylor.

Hi Brian, have you tried posting this on local Facebook Groups such as Wood Green Reunited and I Grew Up In Tottenham Re-United or even this one?

no I havnt but thanks for the tip

There was a family with surname of Pettit /  Pettitt   living in Harringay Road, N.15  during my time there '49 - '70.

I think the lady of the house was Pat.   I'll ask my brothers if they can recall anything.  Our Mum and Dad moved into Harringay Road in 1948.   Good luck.

thanks-any info will help
