Fairtrade at Harringay Festival

This from the Fairtradde London blog (and big respect to Lagu of Fair Deal):

It will soon be Harringay Festival. This is a biannual event and  we are very much hoping to have a Haringey Fairtrade Group presence.  Lagu of the Fair Deal supermarket has agreed to sponsor a stall for us. 

We already have a couple of volunteers to help run the stall, but we could really do with a few more of you to come along and help to spread the fair trade message as well as enjoy the festival. So if you are able to help out by offering an hour or so please email Poppy Pickard saying what time you are available. 

The festival starts at 12 noon.  so we need people from 11.30am through the afternoon to 6pm when the festival closes. 

Perhaps we could think of 3 shifts say 11.30to 1.45; 1.45 – 4.00, 4.00 – 6.15pm. We have our banner we can display, plus Fairtrade nuts to give away, and hopefully some other Fairtrade samples.
