Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Fairlands Park Film Night - volunteers needed - 7 Sept (this Saturday night)
Preparations for the annual film night are underway. It's a lovely niche community event and we need several volunteers to ensure it goes smoothly and we can maximise everyone's enjoyment.
Help is needed with the following tasks:
-moving gear to and from the park on Saturday afternoon (from around 2-5pm)
-setting up screens, connecting electrical equipment etc (ie. literally, rolling out cables and securing connections - no expertise needed - from 3-5.30pm)
-setting up tables and sunshades (from 2-5pm)
-food and drink service (from 6-9.30pm)
-clean up at end of night (from 9pm)
-quick litter pick on Sunday morning (9-11am)
It's a great opportunity to make new friends and you can offer as much or as little time as you want. For example, you could help with the set up and then enjoy the movie or just do an hour or so on the food stands or help with the clean up on Sunday.

Looks like the weather should be ok for the movies tomorrow, but it will be chilly later in the evening so be sure to bring some warm things to snuggle up in!

Fairland Park movies tonight!
Come from about 5pm to get a good spot and for some yummy food from the North Harringay Primary School PSA, plus a home made Turkish treats stall and a local kids cake stall, plus lots of beer and wine that helps fund the movie night so please drink up!
Movies start about 6:30pm - 7pm. It looks like tonight it will be much much colder than previously so bring lots of warm clothes and blankets.
