Facebook ads
Not really a local issue but Google isn't helping. I am inundated with ads on FB today and have turned off the maximum I can turn off. Yet every third post is an ad and though I keep hiding them its as if I had not done anything to restrict them. Any ideas? And yes I am perfectly well aware of why the ads are appearing and I know I could leave facebook......

If you're using a PC or a pad, try downloading Adblock Plus, a free app that does what its name suggests, at least as far as website ads are concerned; I'm not sure if it works on phones, though, and FB posts may be designed to avoid it, but there are options within it and it doesn't cost anything to find out!
