EXPERIENCED COOK / KITCHEN SUPERVISOR FT JOB GOING AT CRAVING COFFEE - ABOVE LIVING WAGE

Craving Coffee is an independent coffee led company with a licensed cafe in Tottenham. We serve speciality coffee & tea, craft beer, boutique wine, cocktails and local artisan food. We are looking for an experienced Cook / Kitchen Supervisor to join our passionate team to oversee our food offering.

The full time role would include:

• Developing menus in line with the company ethos and customer base
• Food and menu costings, controlling wastage
• Ordering and liaising with our suppliers
• Stock management and weekly stock takes for the P&L
• Managing the weekly prep schedule and keeping recipes updated
• Carry out cooking during service and training other staff to ensure that the menu is implemented to a high standard
• Serving customers

The ideal person would:

• Be passionate about food, particularly artisan and craft produce
• Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
• Be organised, able to manage own time well and work unsupervised
• Work well under pressure
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Have good communication skills and be fluent in spoken & written English
• Have qualifications in Food Hygiene and Safety
• Be trustworthy & reliable

The role would be mainly daytime work, for 40 hours pw rota-ed over 7 days. We are a living wage employer, and provide meals and coffee during shifts.
