Because I enjoy editing, it upsets me to see the many mistakes people make in even the shortest emails The simple reason is that they do not read through when finished writing It even happens with letters that are not checked or signed The culprits should understand that people receiving them automatically think less of the sender.

Although I'm one of the worst culprits, I agree with you......up to a point. I do prefer to read well crafted well edited text, but in the final analysis, I'd rather people communicate with low regard for editing accuracy than not at all.

Lower accuracy may also be in part a function of the increasing use of mobile devices. 50.24% of the 300,000 page views we get from 29,000 different users each month are via mobile devices. I know that my accuracy on mobile is lower than it is on desk/laptop.
