Ducketts Common Pond and Cafe

I have just been through the latest threads on HoL and mis-read the subject title for the "Brixton Pound" for "Brixton Pond". When I click through to the link, I realised my mistake (doh!)

Got me thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have a small pond on Ducketts Common, to the east nearest to Frobisher Road, complete with small fountain?

It would be great for local wildlife, too! A small cafe could open up next to it, together with a local nature watch information stand. It could light up at night - providing some visual beauty for the area after dusk (very common in the Middle East)

Is this a goer? If so, maybe we can put in a bid for some cash from the Area Assembly's Making A Difference budget?
