Downhills Way/Belmont community whatsapp?
Hi everyone
Apologies if this is not the correct place to ask. I have been living in the N17 area (Downhills Way area) since 2017 but grew up in N15 (West Green Area) all my life. I am looking to communicate with the locals and look out for each other as I was burguled recently. My parents (who live in Turnpike Lane) and my brother who lives in Wood Green where all typically abroad at the time, so as you can imagine, I felt really lonely and scared for a long time. Luckily I was insured and I was fast asleep so I wasn't hurt.
Something inside me woke up, I knocked on several houses on the street to warn them of any burgulars. I do not wish what I went through to anyone. This made me realise that it's so important to be a part of the community and to be there for each other, hence this post.
Is there a community whatsapp group for N17 Downhills Way?

Hi there,
Sorry about your experience. It's not 100% directly what you're after perhaps, but below is a link to a whatsapp group that's for Friends of Belmont Rec. It's mainly people who live near the Rec, and it sometmes covers issues like local concerns, annoyances etc, rather than just being only about litter-picking and playground equipment.
