Double Glazing Recommendations

Had a look at the Trade section and the latest recommendations are from 2018! Looking at Aluminium. Has anyone had Aluminium Sash Windows fitted? Any recent installations and recommendations greatly appreciated both for Timber and PVC. Thanks

There are quite a few timber sash window companies that are good. I've specified from Whyte and Wood, as well as Timber Windows Highgate, with lovely results. In my own home we used The Joinery Shop (under the arches in Finsbury Park) and were happy with the quality and style of the windows. Timber is, sadly, usually the most expensive option. However in my opinion looks best. I did try to look into aluminium alternatives for sash windows, but without much success. Good luck!
