Henry and sons do great double glazed wooden sash windows. I think they do PVC too. Did a great job for us.

We used safe style who have had awful reviews in the past! But we were impressed with their service and they offered us the best price by miles. Would use them again (although be prepared for a hard sale from the salesman - he didn't leave our house until 11pm as he was desperate for the sale!! if I had my chance again I would have kicked him out at 9pm)

You will get the best quality upvc from Advance Windows (Billy) on 07850-419214. And he is very reasonable as well. tell him paul from seymour road gave you his number.

Liz, i can highly recommend my brother's double glazing firm in Walthamstow. He is very reliable and they have the best window fitting team around. Give me shout if you want him to give you a quote.

Dear Liz, I used the Original Box Sash Window Company to replace my windows - they are not cheap, but they are a profit shre company and did a meticulous job.  They were able to double glaze the windows (keeping the original frames) and fitted Kglass (that keeps heat in better than normal glass).    

The windows are now 100% draught proof and I let my surrounding neighbours keep me warm in winter!  Pamela

Just in case you're still looking... World of Windows and Doors Ltd.  Lovely man, no fluffing around with salesmen and (I think) reasonably priced.  He does sash double glazing too.  0208 885 3009.  Leave a message if he's not there; he will call you back...
