Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

My family dog by the name of Tequila was stolen today on Wood Green High Street in front of Marks and Spencer at 3:29 in the afternoon. She was tied to a post for a few minutes. And taken by two males both approx. age 20, with brown hair.

She has Blackish/Greyish fur which had been cut short today and she is a small dog of mixed breed, Schnauzer/Lhasa Apso/Tibetan Terrior/Shitzu…along those lines.

Note: She is microchipped, has a Pet Log ID tag, is neutered and 11 years old, despite looking young with hair cut.

Please if anyone sees this dog around, or even on the lead, or has any information or saw anything, please contact the local police on 101 with reference 2825736/13 or me 07891895054.

She is desperately missed.

Very sorry for you at this hard time! Is she microchipped? Contact your vet and get them to put an alert on the system (if she is). And If the nasty person goes to ANY vet they will automatically scan for a chip, and with any luck you'll be contacted.

How awful for you! Thank goodness she's microchipped. Make sure your contact details for microchip are up to date. Will keep a lookout and really hope she's found soon. Remember to contact the council dog warden.

Update: we have done what we can…. We have clear suspects, but am not sure that helps… Please if you see a dog like the one above but with shorter hair, looking more like a Schnauzer…please get in touch

Was there no CCTV recording at the time? Difficult to believe not.

Yes. We have photo ID of the guys…but where does that get us? For some reason its hardly a priority for the police…

You know without any shred of doubt that the photos you have are of the people who stole your dog?

I am really sorry, hope she is home safely with you soon.

If you have not already, may be worth putting her on the dog, lost site

Thank you for the advice given. I have done what I can.

Please keep an eye out on Ducketts Common or Downhills Park. Due to hair cut one hour before being stolen she looks like a Schnauzer with short blackish/greyish salt and pepper hair.

Update: My dog has been found! Late on Christmas Eve a vet, miles away in Enfield called and said they had scanned her and called me immediately.

Someone had turned her in. She was unharmed and healthy and even still had her collar and lead. I guess those guys who stole her realised she was not worth it….

Our whole family are over the moon and thank you for anyone who helped look for her!!!

That's wonderful news! I am so pleased for you. Thank goodness she was microchipped.

Excellent news!

happy new years and good tidyings to you all xx

lovely end
