Found this cat on my doorstep (Rowley Road) . Very friendly so not feral. And very emaciated. I can't take her in due to my own very territorial male cat.
I'm suspecting she's been abandoned

I've managed to take her in for the night and have an RSPCA case number to take her to my regular vets.
Vet has given a clean bill of health other than being underweight. Turns out it's a he. He's in our spare room with everything he needs. Will see how our cat behaves and then figure out from there if we can adopt or need to contact Stokey.
The vet didn't check for neutering. No microchip, and somewhere between 10 - 12 years old based on teeth.
I'm more annoyed someone has let this happen.
We have taken him back to the vets for a full blood and urine workup, He is also neutered. We're waiting on the results. If he is FIV+ then we have a loving home for him to go to. If not we are going to try gradual introduction to our cat
You're a star. He's lucky to have found you to help him.
Hi Mimi,
Thanks for the offer, we're all ok for supplies. I'll keep my ear out for someone in greater need.
Hi Mimi, if EyeSpy won't take on your kind offer would you consider helping our rescue cats? Cats litter and cat food is something that runs out extremely fast. Only recently we took in a cat whose owner passed away. The cat was covered in fleas and has possibly kidney issue (off to the vet this week). We also have a mum and 4 kittens, and few senior cats - long term foster, one of them was in foster almost 2 years.
Hiya, I would love to. We would also love to help out where we can. We'd love to foster a mom and kittens of course but I am not sure if we qualify as we both work full time. Shall we pop by the weekend after next and drop all our stuff off? Then you can meet us and we can have a chat how we can help? I'd also like to volunteer where possible, but it would be quite ad-hoc because of work commitments. Let me know. You can also send me a private message and i'll give you my email address
Hi all,
We have had the results of his tests. He is FIV+ so is unable to stay with us. He is going to his new home with our friends who already have an FIV+ cat tomorrow.
We're sure they are going to be great company for each other as they are both so relaxed and social.
Thank you all for your support.
