Do you know of any isolated older people in Harringay?

Hi folks

A number of people have kindly stepped forward to offer their time helping older people in our area. There are some we know about but there are probably many many more we don't know about because they live alone, perhaps dont have a carer or go their doctor very often.

If you know of someone, perhaps a neighbour, who could do with some support, perhaps a weekly visit from an Age UK befriender, please can you contact me in the first instance on. Clearly we treat all contact with confidentiality.

The hard weather hasnt hit us yet this winter but would be good to be prepared to know where people are who might need some help beforehand and to contact them to see if they would like some support or not. We recognise that some people want to remain independent but some might like to see a friendly face from time to time!

We visit people who are 60 +
