I found two of her credit cards in the middle of the footpath near Cafe Moka on the way to the station this morning. I'll hang onto them for a day or so and then destroy if I don't hear anything.

Surely you should take these to the police station?  She may have been mugged or otherwise had her bag stolen?

If she's realised they're lost, she'll have cancelled them anyway.
