Dividing doors ... for and against?
We've just dragged the original dividing doors for our front room out of the cellar and are wondering whether to put them up again.
I've seen a few posts on here from people who have got rid of theirs and would be really interested in why - do they get in the way, block light etc?
Any thoughts very welcome as it will cost us a bit to sort it out (they weight a ton and we'll need to get someone in to rehang them). Ta.

Hi Alison - we have just moved to Hewitt Rd and have just spent a couple of hours knocking the dividing wall out between the two rooms. We were lucky enough to find them intact, stripped and the sort that slide back into the wall discreetly. Habe to say, we love them!

Well the deed is now done and they look fantastic. Many thanks all.
Special thanks to Bushey for recommending Matthew who did the job in no time at all.
Only downside is that we thought they'd both tuck neatly against the walls whereas the one on the hall side doesn't quite make it. So much for our skills with a tape measure ..
