Disraeli's House

We went to Disraeli's House today - and started seeing all these local street names- like Endymion and Lothair

And when I got home I saw this had been all been discussed here before. Nevertheless it's worth a wee trip out...

Interesting, not forgetting Alroy Road, Alroy was a novel written by Disraeli.

Curiously, for a man that had financial problems most of his life, he did manage to live in sumptuous surroundings. I wonder if he ever stopped at the Beaconsfield pub for a quick swallow. I imagine not.
