Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Dispose of gas cannister?
I need to dispose of a small, half-empty, very rusted can of liquid butane that belonged to an old blow torch and I can't find anywhere to take it - can't put it in the bin of course, but neither Haringey nor the City of London hazardous waste collection will take them. Any suggestions? I presume if I could somehow release the remaining gas it would become safe to chuck away, but I can't see how to do this without blowing myself up..)

I tool my gas cannister to the Calor Gas Centre https://www.calor.co.uk/gas-bottles/gas-bottle-return there's one in Edmonton. Not sure if they deal with your one in particular but might be worth a phone call?
