Any luck ? I'm in the same boat !

I can't help you with a reccommendation, but I have a suggestion to try before calling in the cavalry - reset it and see if that fixes it (it often will as the heating element error code means a sensor has been tripped, which doesn't necessarily imply an underlying problem unless it recurs). For most dishwashers this means holding down the start button for 10 seconds or so (but check the manual for your one) - alternatively if you can reach the mains, you can unplug it and then plug it back in again after 30 seconds or so.

Thank you for this little trick Malc. Since reading something in Which? about how the quick programme is almost always good enough, we’ve started using it by default. But the machine doesn’t default to it. So you have to press the quick button each time. If you forget to press that, the ‘slow’ programme can’t be overridden: you have to run it. Now, your wee trick of pressing the start (not the on/off) button for 10seconds has changed that. So, thank you for that.
