I've just spent the evening watching an incredibly powerful & shocking docudrama about corruption and tragedy and sewage in the public water network.
After viewing I also read the program notes on East Anglia TV. I urge everyone to watch the drama and then read these notes. As well as other critiques of the drama. Which say that it is partly misleading and that the situation has been changing very rapidly for the better.
Both viewpoints can be true.
There may indeed be several examples of unfair and misleading images and criticisms of Keir Starmer and other elected politicians.
For the record I don't believe Starmer, Thatcher, Truss, Cameron, and even Gove. are all as bad as one another.
In my view, we should demand that urgently, we, our families, friends and everyone else in the country; as well as animals, birds and fish are able to drink and otherwise use clean water everywhere every day. That means we should consider which politicians lead on needed action.
I also think that the key question now is not who should be or pretend to be Prime Minister. There could be a cooperative cross-party alliance of elected Socialists LibDems, Independents and Greens, if possible at local and National level. To urgently debate, agree, plan and drive through essential changes. It's important too that none of these elected people are bought or partly bought by private sector interests. If there are politicians truly unable to buy e.g. sports tickets or new glasses, they should appear in public with their sponsor's names plainly shown.
