Diamond Jubilee fun
Just wondering if anyone knows of any local diamond jubilee events taking place this weekend apart from the vintage fair at Bruce castle. It seems thee is not much going on in our neck of the woods.....any info would be good, preferably things to take a toddler to. Thanks

Stoke Newington Church Street is closed from 12 - 5 today for a street party. Stalls, activities etc with a 1950s theme.

That Stoke Newington bash looked good. My daughter & I ended up hopping onto the tube at 2 o'clock & catching the boats as they went under Blackfriars Bridge. Lots of people, lots of beautiful old boats! Good to catch the atmosphere live.

There doesn't appear to be even one Jubilee Beacon in Harringey - on the national map we are just a completely blank spot - what happened? I'm really surprised there isn't one at Ally Pally.
