Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi, I have a multiple cat household and recently two of my girls have started to get severely bullied. After many endeavours I have come to the conclusion they would be a lot happier if it was just the two of them. Didi & Maisy, 6 & 7 years old. In perfect health. Use to a busy household and children. Didi is a little more shy but both extremely loving. If you'd like to meet them we are on the Ladder!

Hi Sarah. What lovely cats! We have a multiple cat household too, so can't help myself. However, just in case it's useful, I can recommend Vicky who is excellent at helping fix cat behaviour problems and she does a lot of work on the ladder.

Hi, Thank you for the info, I'll keep it in mind!

Lovely cats! I would have loved to have taken them but I already have two! I can vouch for Devon Rex cats I had one for 15years...extremely loving and gentle cats and sooooo cute with the tight curly hair!!! I really hope someone takes them in

Thank you... I really hope they find a good home soon! Sarah

Hi Sarah. It might help to attract interest if you are able to give some more detail.

For example, I presume you want to rehome them as a pair if they are best mates unless of course they don't like each other!

Are they used to having a home with a garden?

Are they microchipped and neutered? Remember on rehoming to get the microchip contact details updated to the new owner. Sadly if cats and dogs are not microchipped, they are at risk of being put down if they get lost.

Hi,

They are both Microchipped and neutered. They are indeed best buddies and can not be seperated. They are use to being indoors but I'm sure would be happy in a safe garden. They had an outdoor cat pen and have gone outside in the past but I would keep them indoors for a while at least till they are use to their new home. They are fully up to date with their vaccinations including Leukemia.

I'll put them on the Devon Rex site as well. Thank you for the info!

Hi Sarah, could I visit tomorrow?

Hi Ellie,

Unfortunately I am away tomorrow but I'm in this evening and all next week if that might work?

Hi,

We are a family with 2 children, 11 and 8.

We were always thinking of getting a cat or maybe 2 but are unsure what to do with them in the holiday times.
Don't think we cd afford a 'cat hotel' ?

We live in Muswell Hill and have quite a big garden but also other cats around.
Lets see if you find somebody else for those 2 adorable ones. But if not, do get in touch please ?

Kris

Hi Kris,

My two girls are still in need of a good home. I usually ask a friend to pop in once a day to feed them, do the litter tray and give them fresh water. I've never brought them to a cat hotel. I might occasionally, if we are away for a very long time, get a friend to house sit or at least come sit with them and spend some time with them. But all in all it's not a problem to go away and have pets. Maybe you'd like to come and meet them both? I'm around most days and evenings. You can contact me on here or on my mobile if that's easier. 07515650589.

Best Wishes, Sarah

Sarah sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. My partner and I have been talking it over and don't think we could manage two. Good luck with finding them a home.

Hi Kris. Here are some options for cats being looked after during holidays:

Steve does free house sitting/cat sitting www.coolforcats.webeden.co.uk or

Vicky can visit to feed every day http://www.happydogsandcats.co.uk/pet-behaviour-services/cat-sitting/(she feeds a lot of cats locally while owners are on holiday) or

There is also a cat sitting group on here where neighbours do reciprocal cat feeding http://www.harringayonline.com/forum/topics/cat-sitting-group
