Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Decoracus
We're just about to complete our purchase of a house on Seymour road that needs a full refurb, kitchen, bathroom, etc.... We've provisionally booked Decoracus in to do the whole job, based on good reviews online, but I was hoping that someone on HoL who have used Decoracus recently might be able to get in touch and tell us about their experience. A bit of a confidence boost that we're picking the right builder for the job!!
Of course, if anyone has had work done by Decoracus recently, and is willing, we'd love to pop in and see the finished product.

they're totally amazing. they did ours (house on Warham) in 6 weeks, a really big job, on time, no probs. as time goes by, what they did only feels more impressive. Shemek's terrific. good luck! but you're in safe hands.

Thanks so much for your quick reply Catherine. It's a nerve jangling process, so it's always good to hear positive feedback for such an important decision.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you find their prices reasonable and did they stick to budget? Of course, we've had a couple of other quotes, and Decoracus do seem a little bit pricer than some others, but I assume/hope that's because they are very good and worth the extra spend.

yeah - defo - i know what you mean; they're not the cheapest, but budget didn't go up at all. having heard the horror stories of others, in retrospect it felt well worth the spend to ensure no probs/surprises. and they really know the ladder houses. not sure how you do private messages etc but if you want to pop by for a chat / look at what they did, feel free!

hi, sorry to but in, but i'm on warham road too and was thinking of getting them to do a loft conversion, at least all the structural part and maybe finish it myself. did you get a loft conversion? are you about half way down on north side of the road? if so i think i watched the works and was impressed which is why i thought of using them. any chance i could come and have a look at the finished job? thanks.

heya - sorry for the delay - we're south side and haven't had any roof or loft work done (and nothing for 2 years) so that may be someone else i suspect. v welcome to come by but probs not that useful in terms of conversion maybe.

almost everything else tbh - pipes, walls, floors, kitchen, bathroom, a little demolition - all thru Decoracus, very happily.
