Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Looking for a good value Green Lanes hair dresser - I'm going to a big event on Saturday and need to get my hair put up with a fascinator (but not cut). I've seen a lot of stiff curls and glitter spray going on at some of the hair salons and looking for something a bit classier that won't make me look like Jordan. Has anyone had any good experiences?

Christ, I'm a snob aren't I.

Tina's salon on turnpike lane is quite good or obsessions westbury ave.

Not green lanes but close-ish.

Some people on the warehouse scene around manor house have started working from home at big discounts compared to their west end and shoreditch day jobs.

An example being "Manor Stylze"

Thanks. Sounds like a real insider's tip!
Really helpful thx. Doesn't look like there's a way to contact Manor Stylze so I might try one of the Turnpike lane ones - thanks!
077 1609 7717 - on the info tab of their Facebook page.
I tried this number and left a message but didn't get a reply.
I'd go to Crouch End or Muswell Hill if I were you. Definitely not Green Lanes!

My wife uses the green lanes hair dressers and always returns looking beautiful. I'll try to find out which one she uses. Its about half the price on the Crouch End salons but just as good. And whilst the stylists sport less tattoos and piercings than their crouch end and Stokie contemporaries they just as good.

A word of advice, you can ask them not to put in glitter and curls.

I've tried most of the hairdressers in Crouch End and haven't found one I like, and they are the same price as in town. I now go to one in Clerkenwell Green which is great, run by a couple who live in Ali Paly, and they cut my son's hair for £5 if he goes with me. Our last child's hair cut at mini kin was awful and ridiculously expensive so I'm pleased to have found an alternative.

Might I add  that wife also looked beautiful before her hair appointment.

Phew

Hi there

I've found Tina's on Turnpike Lane to be really good for hair cuts, though their skill at what you're looking for I can't really vouch for...!

Kerrie

I have been to one that near the Green Lanes station end of Green Lanes. I was quite pleased with the result. I told them what I wanted and they did it. I can't remember the name (begins with K). The hairdressers did not speak that much English but that doesn't bother me as long as they can cut hair well and understand what you want.
