Dead cat found on Wightman Road
A fairly large black cat was hit and killed on Wightman Road this morning.
I took the body, which was found between Hewitt and Alison Road, to Hill's Vets in Crouch End, where they said they'd keep it on ice for seven days.
The cat wasn't chipped so no way of telling who it belonged to, but if you or anyone you know has lost a black cat . . . . .

thanks for posting this and very good of you to take the cat to a vet
we “own” a black cat, not seen him for a couple of days but he is chipped, so hopefully not the same.
can I ask, if you noticed, did the cat in question have any scars from previous injuries on his front legs?
Our cat Colin does.many thanks
