cyclists safety device: the moving bollard

An obliging cyclist allowed me to take this picture of some kit which I hadn't seen before.

If it stops motorists from overtaking on the inside it might prove quite useful.

At £50 for a rucksack, I'd rather improvise one from the bits of the next bollard I see smashed apart.

Prob not a good idea to wear it in France.

sorry but as a daily london cyclist for years, it doesnt quite fit the problem, but thanks anyway
