Cyclists: come and help maintain the Lordship Loop track

The Trax club is asking for volunteers to muck in with some maintenance to its BMX track in the Lordship Rec this Saturday 11 May from 10 am.

We've got the necessary tools i.e. wheelbarrows, spades, etc, though it might be worth you bringing a pair of gardening gloves and of course footwear/clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit grubby.

This is the schedule:

* 10am on Saturday 11 th May, meet at the track (directions below)
* 10.15am a quick ‘briefing’ on what’s to be done, then organise ourselves into groups to get started (essentially: shifting limestone dust in wheel barrows from its storage location v nearby to various sections of the track, then filling holes & compacting)
* Continuing until early afternoon (or as long as people can stick around / until we’ve completed necessary work)
