Cycling in Haringey - Streets for Cycling – London Cycling Campaign (LCC) pre-election campaign May 2026

Haringey Cycling Campaign (HCC) is promoting the LCC’s STREETS FOR CYCLING campaign by getting as many letters sent to the leaders of the main parties in Haringey asking them to pledge to build a safe and connected cycle network.

Building key identified TfL cycling corridors in Haringey (including Green Lanes) by 2030 would unlock safe and convenient links for residents and join-up neighbouring and London wide routes into a single connected network.  Other local routes would create continuous, safer links between places like Wood Green, Green Lanes, Tottenham and the Lea Valley, Crouch End and Muswell Hill. This already happens in the parts of London where there is a safe, connected cycle network.

The Haringey Cycling Campaign, and other local groups, have organised a pre-election husting to cover Active Travel and Clean Air on the 22^nd of April.  All the main parties have confirmed they will be attending.  This meeting has already been posted in the HoL Forum, but I will do a reminder a few days before the event.
