Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A children’s fun run, completely contained within Priory Park N8, plus an adult 10k event, in and around the lower levels of Alexandra Palace Park and Priory Park, will take place on Sunday 17th May 2015. The fun runs are organised by North London YMCA.

The event exists to raise funds for vulnerable young homeless people at the hostel at North London YMCA.

Event entry fees are discounted by up to 48% for children, and by up to 41% for adults who commit to raising at least £30 in sponsorship or donations. 25% of places are reserved for this purpose.

Race Director, Fran Johnson from North London YMCA said “The YMCA fun runs were set up in 1991 to encourage adults and children to take up physical activity in a fun way, and the legacy lives on! Over 3.500 adults and children each year enter the fun runs, and in 2014 you helped to raise over £28,000 for young homeless people YMCA hostel. So save the date, and come join in the fun!”

The event will take place from 9am – 5pm on Sunday 17th May. The Adult 10km event starts at 9.30am and is open to anyone who is over 16 on 17th May. The nine 1 mile children’s fun runs that are completely contained within Priory Park, take place between 12- 3pm. They are split into age groups, and are open to children aged 4 and over on 17th May. The festival continues throughout the day.
