Crafting groups in Haringey?

Are there any card crafting groups in Haringey? Pref afternoons or early evenings.

Hi Alan, I don't know of any but maybe we should set up one. Was thinking of setting up an early evening crafting group for a while. Maybe at wood green library?

Hi there is one in Stroud Green library (near harringay overhead train station ) Monday afternoons from 1.30 to 3.

I'd definitely be up for something in Wood Green library during a weekday... I just never get the enthusiasm or energy up to do it myself despite having a chest of drawers full of card/papers/ stamps/dies/ink... Might even be persuaded to bring my Cuttlebug embosser/die cutting machine :)

That's great! I've still not got around to pop down to the library but will try my best to go there tomorrow. i'm keen to have something going on in Wood Green (it's a bit more local to me but also feel it could really benefit the community there if people decide to come along). I'm more of a knitter/ sower but curious to do all sorts of crafts :)

I know of something along those lines. there was an event at the earl hague in crouch end a week or two ago. You should contact Lyn Weber. If you cannot track her down, message me your details and I will pass them to her. She lives a few doors from me. I don't know her number and should not publicise it if I did!
The Mary Ward Centre may be worth a try too...

I popped into Wood Green library.
As long as it is a community project you can book a room for £10 an hour.

That's fantastic! Would be great if we could put a session on before Christmas and test the water whether other people are interested as well. E.g. Tuesday, 19.12 at 6pm? What day would suit you? I'm happy to donate the first 10£

I'll book a room tomorrow and make some posters to put up in the library to advertise the group, and see what response we get.

Brilliant! Let me know if you need help with the posters. I ran a knitting group a while ago and could probably easy change the details on the template to suit our group.
