Is covered by Environmental Protection Act

Fines can increase , if offences continue

Council Also has right to add costs of taking case to Court

As a Retired Enforcement Officer. We used to open bags wearing gloves and aprons if needing looking for evidence and re bag after checking bags

In days of fast food, you often see address labels on food containers. In my days it was envelop's

Must be costing Council Millions paying for it just to be collected and disposed of, than trying to stop Fly Tipping

I believe main issue is a Haringey's Population grows. Many of the Houses are Now rooms and large Houses are Flats. But many are Not correctly registered. So do not have the correct number of Waste and Recycling Bins

I often see people putting carrier bags of rubbish in Street Bins and one other rubbish often dumped. Often under No Dumping Signs

Remember putting up No Dumping Signs. and within weeks noticed they was becoming Dumping sites

Another issue is Councils removal of Green Waste service being removed.                                                    Which results in bags of Hedge and other Garden waste being left on footway or Road. When not in Refuse bin

Trade Users must have a Trade Contract and Council should enforce this.                                                         Often seen bags placed around Waste bins. Which is obvious that it comes from local trader 

Also notice many disposing of old furniture , again left out with Refuse Bins , but as not in bin left by crews

Yes The Borough does have a waste Depot, but anyone who had tried using it will have noticed ques and delays. Rather a joke in such a large Borough. Not forgetting vans need to give 24 hours notice and regular use a Trade Waste License

My view is that elected Councillors who control Services need a Wake up call. and should be dragged around to see the problems. Not if they are not being paid for their time and Effort. Between Fixed Allowance's and Expenses

I'm getting so sick of fly tipping. I live on a council estate and I'm sure people drive up with stuff and dump it here when they can't be bothered taking it to the tip. Maybe they think "it's ok, the council will take it away". Maybe they even think their council tax pays for it. No, my service charge pays for it to be cleaned up, it costs more and more every year. I also really don't like living in the middle of all this mess!

Interesting Post on Council Facebook on Dumped Rubbish. Joke was it was claiming dumped rubbish in Gladstone Mews .

But Rubbish was being placed in Service Yard at side of Gladstone Mews

Bigger joke had a picture of lady and vehicle. Asking if anyone knew Her

Yet seen to get in car with registration plate easily read

But is a Issue with Large boxes. From Argos , people buy them, coming in boxes.                              But do not fit in cars so, boxes get left in streets around Store
