We are launching free cooking courses in Haringey teaching people how to cook tasty, healthy and cheap meals. We're already running hugely successful courses in other boroughs and across the country.
Next week we'll be launching in Haringey and our first course is at Chestnuts Community Centre. We have lots of opportunities for 'cook volunteers' who help students at the lesson to make two dishes.
The first course will be at Chestnuts Community Centre on St Ann's Road starting Tuesday 19 June and volunteers would need to be available between 10.30am to 2pm. Volunteering is totally flexible and you can pick and choose on which days you help.
If you'd like to have a chat about this and for more information contact Henrietta on 07759 500 485 or haringey@bagsoftaste.org

Bags of Taste ran a fantastic course in June and July at Chestnuts Community Centre.
Our next course starts on Tuesday 25 September and we're recruiting more volunteers. If you're available on Tuesdays between 10am -2pm and would like to get involved with teaching people to cook healthy, tasty and cheap meals then please get in touch.
Bags of Taste provides all the equipment and ingredients for the lessons, including aprons! You'll also get a free lunch (we sit down as a large group and eat the food we have prepared) and make new friends with other volunteers.
Our lessons are funded through Haringey Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group - for more information about us visit www.bagsoftaste.org. To have a chat about volunteering call Henrietta on 07759 500 485 or email haringey@bagsoftaste.org
