Contact lens optician recommendation needed
Tried this query in Trade and Prof Recommendations group but no response, so trying my luck here.
Can anyone recommend a good optician for contact lenses? Doesn't need to be in the area necessarily. I'm especially interested in recommendations from lens-wearers with very high strength/complicated prescriptions.

I use The Optical Shop at 433 Green Lanes, very thorough and very nice staff - good service.

Dinesh Patel at 41 Grand Parade. Can't rate him for contacts. But recommend him very highly. He is a skilled optometrist who was able to diagnose a serious eye problem that Specsavers had failed to recognise despite several eye tests.
Dinesh runs the business with his daughter: both are very, very good.

Recommend Kirk Davies Priory Rd N8 - v good Optician,highly qualified,many years experience, all staff there warm, friendly - really takes time to make sure prescription works - tried Specsaver as near my work, for contacts - too busy, too high turnover too inexperienced and Kirk cheaper as well as much more responsive.
