Concrete Polishing.

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend someone to do a bit of concrete polishing for us, we have recently had our new kithen/dining room floor poured and powerfloated and it was looking lovely when it was done, so we wet it down and covered it in plastic, so it cured slowly and when we lifted the plastic 28 days later, there is a lot of efflorescence on the surface, we believe this is because it was a very wet mix that was mixed on site.

In hindsight we should have sealed it straight after it was powerfloated, but to keep costs down we did all the organising and prep ourselves and the sealer/hardener/dustproofer didnt turn up till ages after.

So now we need to find someone who can come and do some polishing (but not grinding) to remove the efflorescence and bring up the shine from the powerfloating.

I've asked around the big companies in london and they want a minimum £40 per sqm, and won't budge on the price even though there is no grinding and only gentle polishing of an otherwise perfect floor.

it's only 35sqm, a 1 man 1 day job.
