Community fete at South Harringay School on Sunday?

Does anyone know about this?

We just had the following message posted on our Facebook Wall:

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know about "The big community fete" this Sunday 21st August 2011 at South Harringay Junior School Mattison Road, N4 1BD from 10.30pm -3pm. There will be bargin stalls selling cd, books, kitchen appliances, clothes, etc ( new/ used). Also fun for all the family (Eating contest, mini olympics, face painting), BBQ and talent show. If you would like a stall or enter the talent show please contact me on 07534329931

I asked the Facebook poster and this was the reply:

"It's actually organised by a Everlasting word churchof God to get the community together and have some social fun together. There is such a diverse community in the area in light of recent events I think we need it. Hope you can come down"

It's the "eating competition/mini-olympics/facepainting" that might put me off. What? by the same competitors? Simultaneously? Explosive stuff.

The eating competition makes me think of the blueberry pie eating contest in the film 'stand by me'...
