Climate Crisis - Community Event
If you care about the future of our planet you could do worse than attend this Conmmunuty Assembly event to discuss what we can collectively do to turn things around.
Saturday 25th November from 12pm-4pm Kurdish Community Centre, Portland Gardens, N4 1HU.
Free food provided.`
This, open to all, community event has been organised by Haringey people including those that were involved in the recent 'Hunger March & Festival' in Tottenham, and is supported by the Haringey 'Community Action' Network' (see attached)
Attend if you can and spread the word.

Laudable work was done by the Community Action Network in bringing the borough together to look for ways of alleviating the 'cost of living crisis'. I do wonder whether it might be better for them to focus on one cause, though. As so much of our political and social reaction to the 'climate crisis' is, in fact, exacerbating the 'cost of living crisis', they seem to be at odds... at least in the short- to medium-term.
Interesting to see the Extinction Rebellion branding taking a bit of a backseat in the promotional materials.
