Clean Sweep Operation on the Ladder

Harringay Council are planning a Clean Sweep Operation on the Ladder

The operation will involve:
• School litter picks and clean sweeps by North and South Harringay Schools.
• Community payback teams will be utilised to do low skill work such as helping to trim hedges, clear gardens, remove graffiti and repair and or remove walls where appropriate.
• The fire brigade will do fire risk assessments and where needed issue smoke alarms and give advice.
• The safer neighbourhood team will do crime prevention surveys.
• Staff from the tax office, benefits office and other support organisations will give advice and guidance to help people in the short and long term.
